If you find a penny

If you find a penny, a penny on the floor,
Pick it up and keep it, throw it in a drawer.
If you find a penny, pick it up for you,
Throw it in a fountain your wish will soon come true.
If you find a penny, look up to the sky,
This most surely came from, a friend who's saying hi.
If you find a penny, dirty in the mud,
Pick it up and clean it, it's a penny not a dud.
If you find a penny, just outside the door,
Walk in for a penny candy, they'll sell it in the store.
If you find a penny, rolling in the wind,
Quick take a picture, you'll never see that again.
If you find a penny, laying in a tray,
That's for people who need it,
So if you don't then let it stay.
If you find a penny and think it's just a cent,
Pick it up silly, one day it'll still get spent.
If you find a penny, don't kick it down the street,
Don't you know it's a prize, an unexpected treat.
If you don't find a penny,
Don't worry I'm sure you will,
Be prepared I tell you, cause even a little penny,
Can give you quite a thrill.
