Chasing my Dreams

I don't pretend to have all the answers hidden up my sleeve.  There are times even I, don't know what to believe. It's not as if I know better, than you or all the rest, sometimes even I think life's some kind of cruel, unfamiliar test.
And what is it teaching me?  What have I learned?  I try and try, day in and out, I must admit I have my doubts.  Will my dreams ever come true?  It's pretty clear I haven't a clue.  I don't know what to do. I don't know what to do.

I don't know whether to throw my dreams in the trash or pin them up with the rest of the stash of dreams and dreams stacked up high.  So many dreams that will cling tight or float by.  And what is a dream but an image or thought, something to chase because it's the one thing that you want.
Dreams are like wind blown patterns in shifting sand. Twirls and spins, yes dreams can be grand. But sometimes I wonder will they ever be real. There are times I think I'd beg borrow or steal just to bring that dream that's so grand, right into the very palm of my hand. But just like those fine grains of sand, a dream can so quickly slip through your fingers, and then all I have is the sadness that lingers.
"Follow your dreams!" I've heard it before.
Follow them, follow them! It's your time to soar! But the thought of failure is as loud as a roar.
I don't know what to do. I don't know what to do.

  1. The Native Americans use a "Dream Catcher" to assist them with catching the dreams they can achieve. Why not get one. They are inexpensive and useful.

  2. Dreams in real terms are the creative exercise of the brain to refresh itself and unburden with unwanted loads taken in waking hours.
Dreams in terms of our imagination, plans and future is what we humans have found as special quality endowed to us which has taken us to the top of all food or energy cycle.
Dreams them self are very revealing, as they open up the windows to answers, normally we seek in our waking hours (e.g. Kekule, Mendeleev and many more scientist found their answers with).
So Sarah, your dreams could be the key to achieving your vision !!

  3. I'm doing more with making my dreams (wishes, hopes) into manageable goals and steps. I love this piece. We can make our dreams real with planning and action steps.
